David Schrupp

During high school, David was involved in art, drama, and swim team. He was the state diving champion in 1966. Dave was named a All American for diving. David Schrupp earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Art Education from Cardinal Stritch in 1975. David began his career in education as an art teacher for the Waukesha Public Schools. He worked for Waukesha Central and Waukesha South High School for 29 years. He retired from Waukesha South High School in 2003. David owned and operated Muddy Lips Pottery. He is a national recognized expert in oxen driving. David is presently a volunteer at the Milwaukee County Zoo. David taught all aspects of art, but his specialties were ceramics and jewelry. He has taught and mentored a number of students who went on to win national art awards. David still lives in Waukesha.
