Kenneth W. Reichert, Sr.

During high school, Ken very active and was involved with the following clubs or activities; National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, Junior Class Vice President, Prom Court, Rotary Student of the Month, Good Citizenship Award (Junior Chamber of Commerce), Badger Boys State, Acappella Choir, Senior Musical, Lettermans Club President, and was elected King of Basketball Homecoming. Ken was also very successful in athletics where he earned ten varsity letters while participating in football, basketball and track). Based on his academic and athletic achievements Ken earned a four year Student/Athlete Scholarship to Carroll College. Following high school, Ken earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics at Carroll College, graduating cum laude. He then proceeded to earn his masters degree in Mathematics Education from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee and also completed sixty credits in the PhD program also at UW-Milwaukee. Ken taught Math for forty-four years at Arrowhead High School, serving as a department chair and supervisor. Ken also coached football f rom 1962-1974 at Arrowhead. He has received numerous local, state and national awards for his work in education. Among his other accomplishments, Ken is a self-employed artist, who has created 1,390 original paintings, eighty of which are private collections of Waukesha Historical landmarks.
