William J. Mielke

William Mielke graduated from Waukesha South in 1965. He graduated from UW-Madison with a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering in 1971. After graduation, Bill started to work at the firm of Ruekert/Mielke Inc. Mr. Mielke became the CEO in 1980 and he became the president in 1989. Throughout Bill's career he has dedicated himself to improving the image and professionalism of engineers in Wisconsin and the nation. Bill has been named Young Engineer and Engineer of the Year for the state of Wisconsin. Mr. Mielke is well known for his ability to negotiate and resolve large regional engineering issues with innovative approaches. During high school, Bill Mielke was active in student council, Key Club, W-Club, Founder and president of the Ski Club, track, swimming, and wrestling. In his spare time, Bill enjoys flying, golfing, hunting, trips to his Florida Condo and spending time with his family and friends.
