While attending Waukesha High School, Gary earned five varsity letters in basketball and golf. As a Senior, Gary was a member of the Golf team that placed third at state. Gary was also a member of Letterman’s club and student council. Gary has been a strong supporter of Waukesha South High School over the years and has been instrumental in various fundraising efforts for the school. Gary was instrumental in raising money for the Field House project that included resurfacing of the floor, updating the sound system, and the purchase of the Conference and State Championship banners. He has also organized and coordinated golf outings for the Waukesha South boys and girls’ basketball and golf teams as well as a fundraiser for the D.A.R.E. program for both public and private schools in Waukesha County. Gary was the recipient of the “Friends of Education” award for his continued support of Waukesha South. Gary has served as a board member of the Waukesha Education Foundation.. Gary also coached local youth basketball teams. Gary was born and raised in Waukesha and has been a local business owner for the past 20 years. His son Greg, class of 1999 and daughter Erin class of 2005, participated in basketball at Waukesha South.
