Armand Hans Delzer

Following his graduation from Waukesha High School, Armand Hans Delzer attended Carroll College, the University of Michigan and the Layton School of Art in Milwaukee. Delzer began his career as a commercial artist and eventually developed an interest in the lithography (printing) trade. His career path led to Chicago, Milwaukee and San Francisco. He returned to Waukesha in 1949 to form a partnership in a lithography business, which eventually became known as Delzer Lithograph. Hans Delzer retired in 1977. Delzer Lithograph, which celebrated 50 years of service in 1999, continues to serve the city and county of Waukesha under the leadership of Hans Delzer’s sons, Waukesha South graduates Eric and Marc. While attending Waukesha High School, Hans Delzer was a three sport athlete in golf, basketball and track. An accomplished musician throughout his life, Delzer also participated in band and orchestra during his high school years.
