Lee Kaczmarek

Lee Kaczmarek During high school, Lee was a four year letterman in golf at South Milwaukee High School. Lee earned a teaching degree from LaCrosse State University in 1966. He was a teacher and coach for 38 years. Lee started teaching social studies at Waukesha South High School in 1967. He retired from the Waukesha School District in 2004. Lee's coaching accomplishments covered 38 years at Waukesha South High School. He was the boys head golf coach for 38 years. Lee started the girls golf program and coached it for 30 years. Lee had one WIAA State Team Championship, one second place finish, and 6 third place finishes. He had 31 teams qualify for the WIAA State Tournament. Lee had thirteen Conference Championships. His teams had 63 invitationals, regional, and sectional championships. Lee had 61 Blackshirt players compete in golf at the college level. Lee was inducted into the Wisconsin High School Golf coaches Association in 2004. He was the National Coach of the Year. Lee won several State Coach of the Year awards. He was responsible for over 29 changes to the WIAA Rules and Regulations for High School Golf. Lee was the first golf Teaching professional to be named as the “Teacher of the Year” by the Wisconsin PGA/Wisconsin Golf Owners Association. Lee is presently working for the Wisconsin State Golf Association Foundation which provides grants to needy High School Golf Programs. Lee currently lives in Waukesha.
