Facilities

Waukesha South High School was originally built in 1956, with additions and updates totaling more than $7 million dollars since 2000. With 66 dedicated class-rooms, 44 of which have data projectors, and 15 computer carts (containing a total of 225 computers) students and teachers have exceptional facilities in which to learn and teach. Auditorium
Waukesha South is also home to the largest school auditorium in Waukesha with 1300 seats and a state-of-the-art sound and light system. Accordingly, South is able to provide students with dynamic performance opportunities in the fine arts programs.

Field House
The field house has the largest weight room in the county in a high school, with new equipment added yearly, as well as 5 basketball/volleyball courts, a running track, and seating for more than 2200 spectators.

Natatorium
The natatorium, completed in 2005, features a 25 meter by 25 yard pool with seating for 1800 spectators and a 9ft x 11.5 ft digital scoreboard with playback capabilities. Both girls and boys pool and physical education locker rooms have been completely renovated between 2005 and 2006.

Outside Facilities
Outside facilities include Ken Hollub Football Stadium, home to a new pressbox and sound system (2005) as well as a track, 4 athletic practice fields, a softball diamond, and soccer stadium with a press box. To host all of the spectators for these events, the campus has more than 700 parking spaces available.
